I just got my Re:load Pro in the mail. The box containing the reload was lose inside a much larger box. I connected it to my new 24v PSU with my fluke DMM. The unit was stable when the current was set to 20mA. Above 20mA, around 200mA for example, the current fluctuates wildly from 20mA to 3A at 24V and above 500mA set current, it gives temp warning. The fluke confirmed the current draw and my oscilloscope didn't show any voltage spikes or substantial ripple. It is running version 1.10, but I'm not familiar with python and the link to the firmware update documentation isn't working.

I'm still waiting for my bench power supply, so I can't rule out a PSU issue. I'm relatively new to electronics so any help would be hugely appreciated

I tried the calibration, but it only told me to remove the leads. Now it draws a steady 4A from my 5v supply despite selecting 1A. The voltage dropped to 0.9V

I fixed it, through combination of firmware update and calibration with a good power supply.

Sorry for the delay responding - and I'm glad you got it working! Did you have any trouble updating the firmware?

I couldn't find any guide for updating the firmware, I got a friend to help me in the end. Other than that it works perfectly now.
