I've had the Re:Load Pro for a couple of months now, and have gotten a lot of use of out it. However, I'm seeing issues with calibration.

After the unit sits for a week or so, used or unused, the set-point starts to drift. Pretty soon I'll set a set-point of 500 mA and the Re:Load Pro will try and draw 1.5 amps, or worse

Why is the set-point so far off, and why does it drift so much so quickly?

I'm on v1.11 of the firmware.

This isn't a problem I've encountered before. Does the ambient temperature where you are tend to drift a lot?

Thank you for the reply. I've made a couple of changes to my setup and the problem is improved, but not fixed.

1. I changed the leads. What advertised to be low gauge wire (18AWG) was actually about 22AWG. They are now 18AWG wire leads, and shorter (less than 12 inches)
2. I move the load less after calibration. I've constructed a bench for it to house it semi permanently.

The temperature in the office/lab space is very constant. Varies only a degree or two up and down, at about 70F.

I'm still seeing a drift, but at a much reduced rate. Right now, if I set a setpoint of one amp (1A) I get a current draw of (999mA), but if I set a current for two amps (2A) I'm actually pulling between 1.85A and 2.5A.

I'm attempting to solve this with a feedback loop on the host computer.

Is there any sort of feedback loop (PID control maybe) on the unit itself?
